Sushi Salad
Ingredients:
1 cup Sushi rice
2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
kani (fake crab) cut up into pieces
1 tablespoon of black sesame seeds
cucumber, diced
avocado, cut into cubes
tomatom diced
pieces of seaweed, shredded
soy sauce or eel sauce
Directions:
Cook sushi rice according to package directions. When it’s finished cooking, and once it has cooled off add the rice vinegar and combine well. Just before serving, add the cut up kani, black sesame seeds, cut up cucumber, avocado, tomato , and pieces of seaweed. Mix well and serve with soy sauce or eel sauce.

What is eel sauce sorry doesn’t sound very kosher?
where can i buy kani?
Eel sauce is like teriyaki sauce can get it gourmet glatt and kani is fake crab can get it at any supermarket freezer section by fish area
ask in your supermarket for china mehadrin Kani sticks or shreded
You can add colored peppers and fake crab and then use it as a fish course. Also, mix in a bit of wasabi and picked ginger with the soy sauce. When we have a large guest list for shabbat we make this instead of gefilte fish. It is one of our most popular items.
