Perfect Saucy Meatballs {Passover Meatballs}
Ingredients:
Meatballs:
1 egg per pound of chopped meat
2 grated potatoes
1 grated onion
Salt & pepper to season with
Sauce:
1 green pepper, chopped
1 onion, diced
1 zucchini, chopped
1 large can of tomato sauce
1 can of tomato paste
salt, pepper & paprika to season with
Directions:
Combine the chopped meat, grated potatoes & grated onion to form the meatballs. Then fry up the green pepper, onions and zucchini until tender. Add the tomato sauce and tomato paste. Season with spices. Use the large can of tomato sauce to add water to thin out the sauce if needed. Allow mixture to boil then add the meatballs. Cook for about 2 hours. Serve with mashed or baked potatoes.
