Cut the spaghetti squash down the middle, lengthwise. Remove the seeds and bake face down on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake on 350′ for 40 minutes until very soft. Allow to cool off then shred the insides with a fork.

I recently read a tip on an improved way of cooking spaghetti squash – cut it crosswise into approximately 2″ rings rather than lengthwise. Remove seeds before laying rings on an oiled baking sheet. When soft and cooled slightly, use a fork to pull strands. You’ll find longer strands of squash than if you cut it lengthwise.!
